Who we are
Booksfer, LLC is a limited liability company formed under the Limited Liability Company Act
of the State of Delaware on 28 February 2025. The company designs, builds and operates software
for digital reading and publishing, and owns and operates the platform it develops.
We are a small, engineering-led company. Rather than acquiring or licensing existing
publishing software, we develop our reading applications, author studio and the backend
services behind them in-house. That includes the reader clients for web and mobile, the
publishing and scheduling tools authors use, the recommendation and discovery layer, and the
payment and revenue-share infrastructure that pays writers.
Why we build it
Serialized and independent fiction has moved almost entirely online, but the tooling around
it has not kept up. An author writing a long-running series needs to schedule releases, manage
revisions across dozens of chapters, understand where readers stop reading, and get paid
reliably in a currency and method that works where they live. Most existing platforms solve one
of those problems and ignore the rest.
Booksfer exists to close that gap. Our position is that the writer should keep the rights to
their work, should be able to publish without gatekeeping, and should see a transparent account
of what their audience is worth. Everything we build follows from that.
How we work
We operate as a remote-first company. Product development, engineering and operations are
coordinated online, with our registered corporate presence in the State of Delaware. Business
correspondence reaches us at info@booksfer.com, and we
normally reply within two business days.
